Sometimes slow internet is the result of a bloated DNS cache on Windows. So I have a little trick that works for me every once in a while. If your cache hasnt been flushed recently or you have no idea what the sam hill I am talking about, you should try it anyway. This trick will work on Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7.
DNS Cache Flush Make Internet Faster
Pull up your run box: Start>Run (If the run menu has been disabled, hold the windows key and press ‘R’)
In the command box type: cmd
In the black box that pops up type: “cd\” (without quotes) and press enter
Now type: “ipconfig /flushdns” (without quotes) and press enter
Sometimes, this trick is all you need to improve your internet performance on your Windows based machine.
